The oral presentation by Dr. Dumni Gunasinghe at the Ceylon College of Physicians Annual Academic sessions 2022 won the Henry Rajaratnam award in Endocrinology and cardiovascular diseases.
The presentation was titled Relationship between physical activity and apolipoproteins in healthy individuals and in those with metabolic disease.
The unit is very pleased with her achievement and trust this will be a stepping-stone for further research in this area in Sri Lanka.
