I take great pleasure in writing this message for the website of the Allergy, Immunology, and Cell Biology Unit.
Ever since we commenced operations, we have been able to maintain the highest standards of care for allergy patients at our clinic, excel in scientific research and curate exceptional training programs to nurture the future scientists of Sri Lanka. Our staff has worked tirelessly to achieve these outcomes, as evidenced by the vast number of programs, publications, and collaborations that have been generated and are exhibited on this website. Their passion, determination, and work ethic are exemplary and, without doubt, a great strength to our nation.
Looking to the future, our primary goals are to become a center of excellence for allergy care in Sri Lanka, maintain our position as a premier immunology research laboratory by expanding on infectious disease surveillance efforts, and augment our education of both budding scientists and the community on contemporary issues in Immunology. This will help us move one step closer towards a healthier nation with an equitable and more inclusive healthcare system.
